More risks leads to more problems
All those people doing the right things, they didn't go deep into debt, they didn't buy 5 or 6 houses with no money down. They are now getting wiped out to save the people who did it the wrong way. The people that saved their money are now getting no return. The way the government is talking this is going to continue for a while. This is not good for any of us. Unfortunately many people are taking more and more risks and often that leads to problems down the road.

Jim Rogers on why he owns Japanese Yen
I am watching Japan. I wouldnt mind buying some more Japanese shares.
I actually also own the Japanese Yen for the first time in a while because there are/were huge short positions in the Japanese Yen.

The last market rally and eventual collapse
What usually happens in any markets are some marginal players start having problems and they spread to more and more people. We are already having some marginal players having problems. It will spread to more and more people.
What I expect is the federal reserve will continue to cut back, other central banks are not cutting back but eventually that will lead to problems in the markets. The federal reserve and other central banks will panic and we will have a big rally, and I would suspect that would be the last rally before the big collapse.

Jim Rogers: Investing in North Korea
Why Invest in North Korea
I am investing in the future and in change I don’t condone any kind of that madness (human rights abuses) but it’s the change that’s coming that I’m investing in.
Basic Infrastructure
They don’t have anything in North Korea. Internet, telephones, sheets, towels and anything that you are good at there is a market for in North Korea and it will do well.
Potential for future investments
Yes, North Korea has vast natural resources, metals and minerals which have not been fully exported which can be, could be and will be.
